- 10th Class Marks: You must have passed your 10th-grade exam with at least 50% marks in total. If you have less than 50%, you cannot apply.

How will WCR select you? (No exam!)
This is the best part of WCR Apprentice Recruitment 2025. You don’t need to prepare for any written exam. There is no interview either.
The selection is 100% based on merit.
WCR will prepare a merit list based on your marks. They will take the average of your marks from two places:
Your percentage in 10th.
Your percentage in ITI course.
Here is how they calculate your merit score:
Merit Score = (10th Marks % + ITI Marks %) / 2
Let’s take an example:
Suppose Ravi scored 70% in his 10th and 80% in his ITI Fitter course.
Ravi’s merit score will be: (70 + 80) / 2 = 75%.
WCR will prepare a merit list for each trade. If your name is in the list, they will call you for Document Verification (DV). In DV, you will have to show your original documents like marksheets, certificates and identity cards.
