GATEβ―2026 Website Launched by IIT Guwahati
IT Guwahati has officially launched the GATE2026 website to view all the exam details. The announcement of the launch of the GATE2026 website includes key dates, application process updates and exam guidelines. Registration begins on August 25, 2025 and ends on September 25, 2025 without late fees. Late registration closes on October 6, 2025.

Qualification and Examination Papers
Applicants should have a degree in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Commerce, Arts or Humanities or should be in the final years. Foreign qualifications are also valid if recognized by Indian authorities.
The examination will consist of 30 papers, including a New Energy Science (XEβI) sectional paper under Engineering Sciences (XE). Candidates can choose one or two papers from the pre-approved combinations.
