BGMI 3.9 Update: Get Ready for Transformers!

Big news for all BGMI players! The BGMI 3.9 update is coming soon. It’s a huge update. The main part is a cool Transformers partnership. Plus, the game will look much better. You’ll also find many new features.

When is the Update?

Krafton India hasn’t given an exact date. But reports say it’s coming around July 16, 2025. It will roll out slowly. Android and iOS users might get it at different times. It usually starts in the afternoon in India.

What’s New in BGMI 3.9?

1. Transformers Mode (Neon Town)

This is the best part! You can play as Optimus Prime and Megatron.

How to Play: Find “Spacebridge Beacons” on the map. Use them to call Optimus Prime, Megatron, or special supply boxes.
Optimus Prime: He turns from a truck into a robot. He has a Thermal Axe. His special move is “Charge Slam”. This is a super-fast dash.
Megatron: He turns from a tank into a robot. He has a strong Cannon Attack. His special move is “Triple Fusion Blast”. This creates space and slows Optimus Prime.
Energon: Collect “Energon” on the map. This helps you upgrade your Transformers. It also lets you use their special moves.
Nemesis Showdown: If Optimus Prime and Megatron get close, a special fight starts. It’s called “Archrival Showdown.” This is an epic 1v1 battle.
Repair Your Transformers: Transformers use energy and health. When these are low, they go back to vehicle form. You need to fix them to use them again.
Team Up: You can join Team Optimus Prime or Team Megatron. Finish missions to get special rewards.

Neon Outpost Zone: There’s a new area on Erangel. It looks like a cyberpunk city.

Boxing Ring: A timed area with good loot.
Black Market: Buy special items here. Like the “Interstellar Burger.“
Energy Hub: Ride small robots here. They help you move fast.
Astro Den Arena: This is a portal-based fight area. It’s for close-up battles. You respawn right away.

2. Better Graphics & Look

Super Smooth Graphics: Krafton India says there’s a new graphics mode. It’s called “Super Smooth Graphics.” This means better visuals and smoother gameplay.
Cyberpunk Style: Parts of Erangel will change. They will have bright neon lights. There will be cool graffiti. This matches the sci-fi theme.

3. New Features & How to Play

Cosmic Hoverboard: This is a new, fast way to move. You can glide across the map. It’s great for quick escapes. You can upgrade it with “hoverboard cores.” This gives you dashes and double jumps.
ASM Abakan: A new assault rifle. It uses 5.56mm ammo. It has three ways to shoot. Full-auto, two-shot burst, and single shot.
Vehicle Drifting & Fighting: Motorcycles and cars will drift better. You can also shoot while drifting. This makes car fights more fun.
Mega Truck & Electromagnetic Tank: These are strong, armored vehicles. They have special features. You can even fix them during a fight. The Mega Truck holds four players. The Electromagnetic Tank shoots special rounds.
Cosmic Portals: These take you to a special area. It’s just for finding loot. You can activate beacons there for “gifts.” These are random good items.
Galactic Jumpgate: Use this to go to space. You can get the “Tesseract” there.
New Lobby: The game’s main screen will look fresh.
New Royale Pass: The A14 Royale Pass is coming. It has new outfits and skins. There’s also a new gold spin with cool prizes.
Metro Royale Update: This mode gets new things. Like “Zombie Uprising.” This has different types of monsters. Collect energy orbs and special codes. You can even hatch boss creatures. There’s new loot too, like golden melee weapons.
Arena Ranked Mode: The Arena mode will have an updated ranking system.
